The river bends around St. Louis.
And the streets of the city lead to
the river. The grid of streets in our
city is a patchwork of orientations,
east-to-west-ish, just like the path
of the sun. Traveling through the
city, one is delighted to find the long
shadows and raking light in an alley
or street aligned to the sun at the
start and end of the day.

Playlist

A seasonal playlist curated to follow the sun’s path, from the quiet glow of morning to the long shadows of evening, from the warmth of summer to the stillness of winter.

Whether you’re standing beneath the sculpture or listening from afar, let these sounds remind you that we all share this moment — here together, under the same sun.
